Terms of Service

1. Service description

HEIAN provides AI-powered face anonymization for content creators. The service generates synthetic faces that do not correspond to any real person and composites them onto your photos and videos to protect your identity.

2. Acceptable use

You may use HEIAN to:

• —Anonymize your own face in content you create
• —Protect your identity when publishing content online
• —Create consistent synthetic personas for your content

You may NOT use HEIAN to:

• —Replace someone else's face without their explicit written consent
• —Create non-consensual intimate imagery of any person
• —Impersonate a real person or create misleading identity documents
• —Circumvent identity verification systems
• —Generate content depicting minors in any context
• —Harass, defame, or harm any individual

3. Identity verification

HEIAN requires a live selfie verification before generating an anonymous face. This confirms that you are anonymizing your own face, not someone else's. The selfie is processed in your browser and never stored.

4. Content ownership

• —You retain full ownership of your original content
• —You own the anonymized output generated by HEIAN
• —HEIAN does not claim any rights over your content
• —We do not store, view, or access your original images

5. AI-generated content disclosure

Content produced by HEIAN contains an AI-generated face. You are responsible for disclosing this where required by law or platform policy. HEIAN adds a discrete watermark and metadata to help with compliance.

Under the EU AI Act (Article 50), AI-generated or manipulated media must be labeled. HEIAN helps you comply automatically.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• —Free tier: 5 images per day, standard resolution, watermark
• —Creator ($14.99/mo): 100 images + 30 min video per month, HD, no watermark
• —Pro ($29.99/mo): Unlimited images + 2h video, 4K, multiple personas, API

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Limitation of liability

HEIAN is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not responsible for:

• —Quality of generated faces (AI output varies)
• —How you use the anonymized content
• —Third-party platform decisions about your content
• —Any damages arising from misuse of the service

8. Termination

We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use policy. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Aix-en-Provence, France.
